Hoito perustuu Glykolihappoon, joka koostuu orgaanisista yhdisteistä. Kyseistä happoa esiintyy luonnossa muun muassa rosmariinissa ja ruokosokerissa. Kun happo pääsee kosketukseen pigmentin kanssa, se alkaa tuomaan sitä ruven mukana kehosta ulos.

Toisin kuin Laser-hoidoissa, pigmentti ei poistu verenkiertoon.

Toimenpide suoritetaan Microbladingin tavoin ohuella neulalla ainoastaan epidermiksen (eli ihon päällimmäisen kerroksen) päälle. Toimenpide siis ei ole yhtään Microbladingia kivuliaampi, vaan jopa päin vastoin!
